QMS are committed to giving back to the communities we work in
We are focused on bringing awareness to key social issues and initiatives at both a national and local level by providing community and charity organisations with a dynamic media platform to effectively communicate their respective causes.
Our Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) program provides support for various Not for Profit organisations and charities across Australia through the provision of outdoor media space to help increase awareness and engagement.
In 2018, QMS donated over $3,000,000 in media to more than 50 Not for Profit organisations and charities including:
Ovarian Cancer Australia
“We are incredibly thankful for the support from QMS in bringing life to our campaigns including Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month (February) and World Ovarian Cancer Day (8 May.) The opportunity QMS have provided is a serious game-changer and the largest amount of support we have received in terms of media value.
QMS’s support has enabled Ovarian Cancer Australia to campaign on a national scale and reach new audiences in raising awareness of the disease. Sadly this year in Australia, more than 1,600 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer and over 1,000 will succumb to the disease, with only 46% of women diagnosed with ovarian cancer surviving five years post diagnosis. This is well below the average for all cancers in Australia. Ovarian cancer is the most lethal women’s cancer and the sixth most common cause of cancer death in Australia but funding for the deadly disease falls well below other women’s and men’s cancers.
With the help of QMS and the their team these billboards and street furniture will reach millions of Australians passing busy intersections across Australia capital cities. We really couldn’t have achieved all of this without QMS’s invaluable support.”
– Jane Hill, CEO OCA
DrinkWise – Infront of your kids
QMS, in partnership with the OMA, have been a fantastic supporter of the ‘DrinkWise in front of your kids’ campaign. By providing DrinkWise with 20 key outdoor sites, QMS has significantly increased campaign exposure and extended this important message to parents around Australia. We greatly appreciate the support from QMS and look forward to continuing this partnership in the future.
– Simon Strahan, CEO DrinkWise
Field Of Women
“QMS have provided Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) with the most amazing advertising opportunity via their incredible digital billboards across Melbourne. Not only does this opportunity advertise our iconic awareness raising event on the MCG in August, it makes the thousands of commuters aware of our vital free services and support. This year 50 Australians will be diagnosed with breast cancer each and every day. The opportunity QMS have given BCNA and Australians diagnosed with breast cancer is momentous and we are forever grateful to them for their generosity and support. I have worked at BCNA for 6 years and my proudest moment was last week as I drove under the Punt Road bridge and looked up to see ‘The Field of Women’ photo sparkling proudly above me. Thank you to the staff and the Board at QMS.”
– Anna Wilson, Field of Women, Breast Cancer Network Australia.
“In a world where it’s hard to be heard, it’s even harder to be noticed when you have no money to spend, irrespective of the good news in your message. The team at QMS have kindly and generously supported the work of YGAP and the Polished Man campaign for many years. In 2017 they helped us raise over $1.65 million to help end violence against children here in Australia and around the world. They also attended our first ever Polished Man Gala last year, which goes on to demonstrate the true and authentic relationship we have. We are so grateful to the QMS team for getting behind this worthy cause.”
– Kylie Wallace, Head of Campaigns YGAP
Leukaemia Foundation – Light the Night
“The Leukaemia Foundation cannot thank QMS enough for their generosity. Their outdoor media campaign has been vital to promoting our annual Light the Night event this October – a nationwide event bringing together Australia’s blood cancer community. QMS has managed to grow Light the Night throughout Melbourne this year, we are now reaching new supporters in the wider community. Their advertising assisted us in raising awareness and much needed funds to continue to provide every Australian with the support and services they need to beat their blood cancer. Once again a humongous thank you to QMS for all their support during our event.”
Ash Knop – General Manager Victoria and Tasmania
Robert Connor Dawes Foundation
“QMS has been central to the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation’s youth and community engagement in brain matters. Through QMS’ outdoor media formats, we have been able to cheer on and thank participants and donors of Connor’s Run – Australia’s largest event for paediatric brain cancer. QMS’ generosity in providing us with key outdoor media is making a lasting impact for brain cancer patients today and tomorrow. We can’t thank QMS enough for all of their support.”
— Liz Dawes, Executive Director
OzHarvest – Fighting Food Waste
“OzHarvest is incredibly grateful to QMS for promoting our national campaign #FightFoodWaste. Their donation of outdoor media allowed OzHarvest to expand the reach of a digital first movement, yielding far greater awareness and consideration to the campaign message. This complimentary media served as a key driver of traffic to our website and successfully communicated the issue of food waste to an audience we would have otherwise been unable to reach.”
– Annika Scott, OzHarvest
“Thank you to QMS media who very generously put our little Gippsland milk company up in the bright lights of Melbourne. It was an OMGOODNESS moment when QSM gifted us $110k worth of FREE outdoor advertising. The opportunity and credibility we gained from being on 11 CBD billboards in locations such as Toorak Rd, St Kilda Junction, Punt Road, Kew Junction, Glenhuntly Rd, Bridge Road, South Melbourne was incredible. To say we are BLOWN AWAY with the corporate generosity from QMS Media is an understatement. Being a little milk start-up we simply don’t have spare cash to spend money on advertising – but we really need to be able to sell milk and to sure up that dairy farmers get paid a fair price! The dairy industry is struggling and the only way to force change is by asking consumers to speak up! To receive outdoor billboard exposure was absolutely incredible! Thank you Barclay Nettlefold and Tim Stevenson. You were SO kind!”
