QMS Sport signs Western United FC

19 September 2019

QMS Sport is pleased to announce an exclusive media rights deal with the newest club to join the A-League; the Western United Football Club.

The Western United FC was established as part of an expansion process for Australia’s premier A-League football competition and will begin competing from the 2019/2020 season, commencing 11 October 2019.  The Western United FC will play home matches in Geelong and Ballarat, before permanently relocating to its proposed football specific stadium in Tarneit, Wyndham for the 2020/2021 season.

Under the terms of the agreement, QMS Sport will supply, install and operate best in class digital signage solutions, with 230 metres of LED hardware at all Western United FC designated home game matches during the Hyundai A-League season played at GMHBA Stadium and Mars Stadium. QMS Sport will also be the exclusive sales partner, providing advertisers with maximum broadcast exposure via dynamic LED signage on-field throughout the season.

QMS Sport is delighted to continue its long-term relationship with this growing code of football. The latest AusPlay survey released by Sport Australia confirmed football’s position as the number one organised sport in Australia, with more than 1.76 million participants. QMS Sport continues to provide strategic, innovative and seamless sporting solutions, ensuring sports fans and advertisers are a major part of the action.

QMS Sport is excited to partner with Western United FC and continue to work with the A-League clubs and Football Federation Australia to drive the ongoing success of the sport.
