QMS Supercharges City of Sydney Network With More Digital Screens

Digital outdoor media leader QMS today announced a significant expansion of its premium City of Sydney street furniture network, with the conversion of 50 static panels to digital – taking the network to 600 digital screens and unlocking a new level of scale, flexibility and audience engagement for advertisers.

The expansion reflects sustained demand from brands for high-impact, data-driven Digital Out of Home (DOOH) solutions across Australia’s most coveted advertising environment.

The newly converted screens extend across a broad footprint of the City of Sydney, spanning key entertainment and commercial precincts including the CBD, The Rocks, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and Haymarket, while also deepening QMS’ presence in high-growth inner-city residential hubs such as Potts Point, Woolloomooloo, Zetland, Rosebery, Camperdown, Waterloo, Eveleigh, Alexandria and Moore Park.

More than just an increase in digital inventory, the expansion transforms how brands can present in market, enabling dynamic, contextually relevant creative, faster turnaround times and greater control over campaign delivery. With 600 digital panels, QMS now offers unmatched scale within a single street furniture network, allowing advertisers to deliver more consistent, high-frequency messaging across the nation’s most powerful local government area (LGA).

The conversion also significantly expands QMS’ Programmatic DOOH (PrDOOH) capability, giving brands the ability to activate campaigns in real time, optimise by time of day and day of week, and respond to audience behaviour and environmental triggers – all while complementing broader campaign activity.

"The City of Sydney network is the most premium and in demand Out of Home environment in the country, and this expansion is about giving our clients greater flexibility, speed and precision in how they connect with these audiences.
  •  Olivia Gotch, QMS General Manager, City of Sydney

“Now reaching 3.9 million Sydneysiders over a four-week period, our expanded Digital network will deliver real results for clients, increasing campaign frequency and cost-per-thousand efficiency.

“We’re continuing to see strong demand for solutions that combine impact with accountability, and the move to further digitise our network allows us to deliver that at scale through dynamic creative, programmatic activation or more efficient campaign delivery.
  •  Olivia Gotch, QMS General Manager, City of Sydney

“These market-leading digital screens, powered by advanced technology, place brands at the heart of Sydney’s most influential and high-traffic environments creating more opportunities to engage audiences in meaningful ways, while delivering stronger outcomes for our clients.”
