QMS Shines A Light On B&T Women in Media Winners

30 August 2021

QMS is proud to recognise and celebrate this year’s winners of the 2021 B&T Women in Media Awards, by once again shining a bright light on these talented and inspiring women across our premium digital outdoor network around Australia.

The digital billboard campaign will feature all twenty-seven winners from the awards held last Friday, including Nina Funnel from #LetHerSpeak: news.com.au, winning the Woman of the Year, The Glass Ceiling and Journalist /Producer Awards; Nine’s Tina Andrew for taking our The People’s Choice Award; and Melinda Geertz of Leo Burnett, who was awarded the prestigious 2021 Lifetime Achievement award.

For the past four years, QMS has been a proud partner of the B&T Women in Media Awards as our commitment to foster an inclusive and supportive culture for women continues to grow.

The awards help to keep the industry focused on progression as it celebrates and empowers women and their achievements.

“In the time that we have been involved with the awards, we have seen tremendous support across the industry for more positive change in relation to the attitudes towards and empowerment of women. Despite the pandemic challenges that continue to affect us all, these awards remain vital in ensuring we acknowledge and celebrate strong, powerful and inspirational women each and every year,” said Ms Lappage.

“As a judge for the awards, it is so rewarding to hear the stories of the nominees firsthand and to see so many remarkable women committed to driving positive change in our industry. Equally as encouraging, are the stories of support and guidance they are receiving from those around them, as the next generation push forward and make their mark.”

Ms Lappage added; “QMS is proud to continue to partner with B&T to make these awards more memorable each year and to provide a platform for the winners to shine bright and showcase their achievements to the broader community.”
