ATEED Selects QMS NZ for City Theming

12 October 2015

Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) has selected QMS NZ to deliver an Auckland theming campaign to publicise two of the city’s biggest events, the Dick Smith NRL Auckland Nines and the ITM500 V8 Supercars.

The city campaign will brand assets at public transport hubs and local event precincts to highlight the ITM500 and NRL Auckland Nines as major Auckland events. Further, this campaign will extend the reach of each event to include Aucklanders, regional visitors, and V8 and league fans.

Previous city theming campaigns were delivered through a variety of media partners. ATEED has now selected QMS NZ as a single external agency to manage the campaign across the 2015/2016 period.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to work with ATEED on this city theming campaign. For Kiwis, Auckland is synonymous with exciting and entertaining activities, and the ITM500 and NRL Nines are two of the biggest on Auckland’s calendar,” said Chris Monaghan, CEO of QMS NZ.

“QMS NZ’s track record in providing high impact, highly visible and innovative advertising across the nation put us in a position to deliver for ATEED. We’ll be theming Auckland’s open spaces to hype these two events,” added Monaghan.
