23 February 2018

QMS NZ is pleased to announce the expansion of its Datalab, New Zealand’s market leading measurement and insight platform to now include the NZ airport category, encompassing Wellington and Queenstown airports. Utilising 1.2 million mobile devices, the Datalab’s airport measurement provides new insight into this highly valuable audience segment.

The Datalab’s extended capability incorporates all airport media assets, including the recently launched landmark digitals sites, ‘Panorama’ in Wellington and ‘The Remarkable’ in Queenstown with additional daily and intraday audience data.

QMS NZ CEO, Mike Porter said “We are delighted to further extend the Datalab’s market leading data and analytics capabilities to capture this valuable and highly-sought after airport audience. Our quality media assets within airport environments impact new and unique passengers every day, with a highly attractive demographic profile.

“We have been focused on delivering our multi-format audience engagement proposition, ensuring we provide our clients with accountable, effective and relevant campaign recommendations.”

The completion of audience measurement for the airport media category, demonstrates our ongoing investment and commitment to the New Zealand airport media sector and to evolving our data and analytics capability to deliver on the expectations of our valued client base.

The QMS Datalab has been leading New Zealand outdoor measurement for over six years, enabling media agencies to plan multi-format campaigns with a single audience campaign view across QMS’ extensive outdoor product base of airports, digital and static billboards, bus and commuter media assets.

This new dataset increases the number of data points from 100 billion to 136 billion, delivering a comprehensive understanding of the journeys New Zealanders make every day.
