Outdoor Systems join forces with QMS

15 January 2014

Brian Tyquin, Managing Director of Sydney based Outdoor Media Company, Outdoor Systems, today announced a strategic alignment with the new force in Australian Outdoor Advertising – QMS Australia. QMS Australia will assume all marketing and sales responsibility for Outdoor Systems from January 2014. This follows the termination of the sales agreement with oOh!media who have acted on their behalf for the last 12 months.

Mr Tyquin said he was delighted to be involved with QMS which is led by Barclay Nettlefold.

I am extremely happy to have QMS representing my company, Barclay and I share a vision for the future of outdoor advertising in Australia. I believe our strategic alignment will provide a platform for dynamic future growth.
  • Brian Tyquin, Managing Director Outdoor Systems

The strategic partnership between Outdoor Systems and QMS Australia extends QMS’s reach in the Sydney outdoor advertising market. This comes on the back of QMS’s recent success in securing the prized VicTrack outdoor advertising concession.

Barclay Nettlefold, CEO of QMS Australia added, “We are very excited to be representing the Outdoor Systems portfolio and establish a footprint in Sydney as we continue to expand our range of assets and formats nationally.  The level of interest that has been expressed in QMS taking on the representation is extremely encouraging and a stamp of approval of our approach, operations and most importantly, our people.”

Outdoor Systems own and operates 25 large format Outdoor Displays in the Sydney and Interstate markets.
